Mr. Hou focuses his practice on various aspects of patent and trademark laws, including patent preparation and prosecution, strategic counseling on worldwide IP protection, conducting patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate assessment, providing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and IP due diligence for various commercial transactions.
Tianjun has worked with companies in medical appliance and devices, optical and optical-electrical devices, consumer electronics, image processing, computing software and infrastructure, internet service, communication systems, cleantech, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and liquid crystal display industries.
Tianjun is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He also has the qualification to practice before the State Intellectual Property Office of China. Tianjun earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. He received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in China.
Tianjun has been practicing intellectual property laws over 20 years. He has working experiences at major law firms in both the United States and China.
William E. Nuttle

Mr. Nuttle focuses his practice on various aspects of patent laws, including patent preparation and prosecution, strategic counseling on worldwide IP protection, and conducting patentability and validity analysis.
William has worked with companies in semiconductors, electrical circuitry, electrical devices, optical devices, and computer software.
William is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
William earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
William has been practicing intellectual property laws over 20 years. He has working experiences at both law firms and company as in-house counsel.
